Summer 2013 – I am asking the Lord to teach me more about how to pray. God has answered prayer after prayer in our family. Yet, I know there is so much more that the Lord would have me learn and experience in prayer. Part of this journey is learning from others … This week I pulled out the two “Faith Partner” classics below … Do you have a book on prayer that has helped you grow in your prayer life? Lord, I want to learn from You in new ways this summer. Help me to listen to your Holy Spirit and make the things close to your heart the priority of my prayer life. I love you, Jesus, and I sure do appreciate your willingness to teach me.

Yesterday – I had one of those moments in church where I was completely overwhelmed as we sang this song. Here is a portion of the lyrics …

I wonder what it will be like to worship with an unsinning heart? I want my heart to begin now to offer Endless Hallelujahs to the King. Sometimes the Holy Spirit grips your heart and particular moments – and says bring me what you have.
