Another Power 90?

The floor shakes above me as our son, Michael, pounds out the high intensity exercises in Power 90.   Extreme exercise with extreme results… Michael loves it. Have you considered another Power 90?  How about the Bible in 90 days?     This summer has been a great time to go through the Bible … just 12 pages in a day.  I write in my Bible and stick post it notes all through it.  Verses that stand out… or maybe a prayer … all these things are in my Bible. Every day – I’m looking for the Holy Spirit to teach me — change me —  direct me — and fill me with His power. One definition of radical is “(esp. of change or action) relating to or affecting the fundamental nature of something; far-reaching or thorough : a radical overhaul of the existing regulatory framework.” Father,  thank you for the invitation to be radical.  Thank you for the opportunity to experience an “overhaul the regulatory framework” of my life.   May I know the power and leading of  …

Excited for Summer

When I was a little girl, I c0uldn’t wait for summer. My heart still gets excited about the approaching summer season. I like what Lee Strobel says in his book The Unexpected Adventure. “The Edge of Expectation -that’s how we’re meant to live life.  When we tell God, ‘Please surprise me with the opportunities to tell others about you,’ we can have confidence that he will take us on white-knuckle adventures that will make an eternal impact on others while at the same time giving us the thrills of a lifetime.  It’s the exhilarating series of divine ‘coincidences.’
