We planned to leave on Friday for Guatemala and wrote the devotion below for Friday night.

God is at work in the UNEXPECTED. What was unexpected to us was no surprise to God.

 I will be sharing the team devotions each day of week so that you can follow along with us.  Prayers Appreciated.

Devotion 1

Psalm 62:5-8
Find rest my soul, in God alone,
My hope comes from Him
He alone is my rock and my salvation
He is my fortress, I will not be shaken
My salvation and my honor depend on God
He is my mighty rock, my refuge
Trust in Him at all times, O people
Pour out your hearts to Him
For God is our refuge.

God is not surprised by the snow or by the time line He has us on this week. Perhaps He will put us in the path of different people because of this situation. Maybe there will be someone at the airport who needs an encouraging word from you.

Let’s be on the lookout for God working in the Unexpected today.
