It was just friends praying in a circle on the living room floor.  It was a circle that had rounded up many times through the years over heartaches and joys… each time we met prayers were lifted to our Heavenly Father. So many answers – so many changed lives – our own hearts changed the most.

This time we gathered to celebrate our friend, Julie, who was preparing to return to her home in Guatemala.   She left us with a challenge – one she is living.  “Never let fear keep you from stepping out of the boat and into the next steps God has for you.”

Father,  may fear never rule in our hearts and keep us from taking next steps with You.  We want to keep our eyes focused on You – never distracted from your plans for us.   In Jesus name, Amen.
