Gifts Money Can’t Buy: Peace

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6

“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.” – Luke 2:16-19

Thank you, Father for sending your son – Jesus.   Thank you that He was willing to give His life save us from our sins.

  1. You’re so right. Money cannot buy the peace that Jesus gives. Truly, we are blessed beyond measure.

By the way, I love seeing the Bethlehem photo, Lisa.

    • Thanks – Cheryl! It has been one year ago tomorrow that I went to the Holy Land. It was a life-changing experience. Someone has said that after visiting Israel the pages of the Bible becomes “alive” — I agree.
